  • maintain at least a "C" grade point average,
  • maintain full-time status with a minimum of 12 units per term,

Scholarship recipients are assigned a Mentor whose responsibility is to provide guidance and a helping hand as the student embarks on her education.

SUCCESS

Despite obstacles, an unwavering spirit and hard work have driven them to succeed.

Our scholarship recipients pursue a wide variety of interests: business, nursing, engineering, education, journalism, and environmental studies. Many go on to graduate from certificate programs, as well as achieve four-year degrees. Some are already working within our community as dental hygienists, nurses and teachers. Despite obstacles, an unwavering spirit and hard work have driven them to succeed.

"Thank you very much for making it possible for me to take a dental radiology class. I have finished the class and now am waiting for the results of my certification."
