APPLYING TO THE FUND

Young women interested in applying for a scholarship must:

  • reside in Jackson County
  • prove financial need,
  • be a high school graduate entering her first year of college,
  • and attend an accredited college or university in the State of Oregon.

Applications are available through local high school counselors.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Interested applicants must complete the Application and submit it by the specified deadline, along with high school transcripts, written essays, and recommendation letters.
  2. Personal interviews will then be arranged for chosen applicants.
  3. The Fairy Godmother Committee will evaluate and select the final recipients.
  4. The number of scholarships and the amount of each award will vary from year to year depending on funding available.
